Covid19x19: A Faceless Portrait
Feb. 2021
Covid-19 has changed daily life for all humanity. There has been nothing like it in living memory.

We walk about in public almost faceless, unable to read each other's expressions or greet with a smile. It is a radical modification to how we as a social species interact.

I made this 19x19 matrix of anonymous street portraits during the "second wave" in the Baltic country where I was locked down. They collectively comprise a universal portrait of humanity in historically important times, albeit in one corner of the world.
