Après le Déluge :: After the Flood

This collection of photographs follows up on my 2019 Gazed on Lake Pedder exhibition of wetplate collodion tintype portraits of people who saw the original Lake Pedder. In Après le Déluge (named after Arthur Rimbaud's poem from Illuminations) I have used the modern lake as inspiration for photographic works portraying the austere, controversially beautiful and at times forlorn environment in its diverse moods.
